| Happy Halloween everyone!!
For those of you who haven't seen me today, my gf lent me some of her clothes to wear, as a halloween costume. So, I ended up being a drunk matsuri person. The blush on my face makes me look like I'm actually drunk. Actually, I kinda look like I should be serving sushi to people. Hehe.
Let's see...today after work, at about 4:30pm, Celeste, my bro, me, and a bunch of friends are gonna watch Ju-on, the Japanese version of "The Grudge," because the Japanese club is showing it. I don't know if it's any good or not, I've heard mixed reviews about it. We plan on seeing "The Grudge" next week, so after seeing the Japanese version, we can compare what the director decided to do for the American release.
Well, that's it for now. Have a great weekend everyone! Take care and be safe!
| Taihen gobusatashite orimasu. O kake shinakute moushi wake gozaimasen.
Hello! I haven't written in a while I know. For those of you who are curious, the computer at work has no Japanese input, thus I am unable to write out my blogs in Japanese...not that many of you care. I'm not particularly known for writting exclusively Japanese blogs.
I ran into my friend Sayuri today. I met Sayuri about 2 years ago, when I was studying abroad in Hiroshima. Now, she is studying abroad here for the next two semesters. Needless to say, it was very nice seeing an old friend.
That's all I have for today. Ja na!
| Hello. I know that it's VERY rare for me to be back here in a week, let alone the very next day. That's ok.
Classes are alright so far. I think I may have missed an oral interview with my Japanese teacher, but I could have sworn that it was scheduled for Thurs. If I'm wrong...oops. My bad.
I haven't gotten angry in a while. That's really good, at least I think so. For those of you who don't know me, or those of you who know me, but don't know that I have a temper...I have a temper. I seem to have a bit of trouble controlling it, and am currently looking for anger management programs. So, if anyone knows where I may find such a program on campus, please let me know.
I am debating on whether or not I should look for a job, outside of campus, like Ala Moana. It would be better for me, pay-wise, and would be more practice for my Japanese skills. However, I am unsure of my ability to do any jobs, because I have no experience whatsoever, and am insecure. I will probably ponder this later on as well.
That's it for today. Talk to you all later.
| Hey people! It's been months since I've last wrote on this. Gomen ne! m(_ _)m
Anyway, summer kinda sucked. I ended up working with Royal Hawaiian Movers, part-time, passing out phone books to the business district. Unit 5 (Bryan, Celeste, and I) used a tiny little pick-up truck that could not hold much and we ended up getting paid little (as opposed to last year). Also, Celeste also started to hate me because of all the bickering that we did, EVERY SINGLE DAY! Mostly my fault, I know, but it would have been so much better if I had not taken this job. But, it's over...so I'm happy.
As for school, I have 4 classes this semester: Japanese 451, linguistics; Japanese 420, a speaking class; English 255, short story and novel, and Geography 102, world geography. I have very little money this semester, because our (my bro and I) FAFSAs were incorrect, and to remedy that, we changed them. However, because of that I only got around $400 from my refund check. Subtract the costs of books, and that ends up to be about $100 left over. I am working part time and the language lab again this semester, so it's not ENTIRELY all that bad, but I have to wait till Oct. to get paid the payroll I am working now. Sucks to be me.
That's really all I have to report. I need to work more on my Japanese, but I'm sure everyone already knew that. I will talk to you guys in...well...let's just say later to be safe.
BTW. I am currently addicted to Star Ocean 3: Till the end of time. It's a fun game...I kinda suck at it...but all in all a pretty good game so far. I am currently trying to level up some of my characters because they keep getting their asses kicked.
That's REALLY all for now. Talk to you later...maybe.
